Carlos is an associate lawyer in the Natural Resources and Environmental Law area at IMAD. He has over five years of experience in public and regulatory law, as well as in environmental project assessment before the SEA. His practice also focuses on administrative sanctioning procedures and representing regulated entities in appeal proceedings before state agencies.
He was part of the Environmental and Regulatory Law team at Oyarzún, Garcia y Frias (2021). Later, he joined the Projects, Environment, Natural Resources, and Energy area at DS Avocats (2022). He also worked in the Environmental Law, Natural Resources, Energy, and Regulatory area at Ontier Chile (2024).
- Advisory and processing of mining and maritime concessions for Empresas FG.
- Ongoing environmental and regulatory advisory services for Viña Santa Carolina.
- Successful defense in environmental sanctioning proceedings for Mena y Ovalle, Biomasa Salinas y Waegner, among others.
- Lecturer in core courses of Civil Law and Procedural Law at all levels. Development of training seminars for core subjects in the law degree program. Focused on students preparing for their bar exam, reinforcement for undergraduate students, and content updates for practicing lawyers.
