José Manuel has deep knowledge of the mining industry, its operation and regulation. In over 12 years of professional experience, he has worked in both the public and private sectors. First, while working in specialized law firms, he advised mining companies on the conduction of their projects. Later, he took on different roles in the National Geology and Mining Service, acting as head of this Service legal department for 3 years, until 2021. As a result, he is an expert in mining law and other associated regulations, and particularly environmental and water law.
